Re: Marine Finance 101 - What is a boat loan?
An example: I just financed a 30 Shadow Cat that is a 1990 (not in NADA Book since 1986 and they only built one boat that year).
My customer told me that no one else could finance it. He had good credit and a rock solid survey. It can be done!

Thanks again guys.
One more note: If you are very strong in most areas but fall short on liquidity, sometimes banks will over look that and still grant the loan. The above is a general guideline. The above is not written in stone.

Dave, Where is the best place to get your credit score? I just got one from from a company that used TransUnion info and their credit score range is from 300-900. I thought 750 was the highest? Thanks, Doug
