Anybody know what boat this is?
2 Attachment(s)
A good friend is about to buy one of these.
Never heard of a Don Twenty, but I told him I would ask the OSO experts. It is a 1974, about 20 feet. It looks like Donzi, but is built by Glasspar. The owner claims it is a Don Arronow designed and built boat. Here are some pics... |
Re: Anybody know what boat this is?
I found this:
A bold new star joins the Glasspar Class of '74 . . . the Don Twenty. No ordinary boat, the special lines, the outstanding performance, stem from the fact the designer is Don Aronow of Cigarette Racing Boat fame. A triple threat boat . . . a proved racer, an ideal runabout and certainly the sportiest ski boat on any body of water. Specifications: Brochures: 1974 Gunwale Length: 20'4" Centerline Length: 19'7" Maximum beam: 73" Cockpit depth: 2'1" Weight I/O: 2598 lbs. w/275 Chrysler B.I.A. load capacity rating I/O: 994 lbs. Bottom Contour: Deep-V |
Re: Anybody know what boat this is?
It looked like a Don design, considering it was 1974.

Re: Anybody know what boat this is?
sorry, I tried to upload the cig 20 specs but the file was too large and I see the auto sizer isn't working any more on this site.

I havent seen it, but apparently the guy will let it go for $4000.
Included in the sale is the hull, (which needs paint), the interior is good, but no engine. It has a Bravo 1 drive and a trailer, but I don't know the condition. My friend is a large Marine engine distributor in Massachusetts so it would be a good project for him, but neither of us know anything about Glasspar... |

Dave, that appears to be an error. I bet anything they meant to say 7 feet 3 inches.
