Re: sell or part out?

I'll sell it to whoever comes up with the money first. I'm spending every spare minute working and boating is way down on my list right now. :(

I would keep it. Fix the problems and run it like you stole it.

Want to trade for a 22ft Velocity Project boat??? It's completely stripped and ready to start, it also has a trailer, a double axle aluminum slide on trailer. It's kinda ugly now but could be FAST and FUN!!

How about somebody else?? Somebody buy the Velocity so I can buy his boat!!!

I may be interested in a trade for a good used car or truck. :eureka:

Re: sell or part out?

if it were in a year or two, I'd be interested, but not right now. My advice is not to part it out, but then I really like the look of those boats.

Re: sell or part out?

I started drilling out the transom mount holes for the port tab and found that even though the glass is rock solid the wood in the transom around the tab is wet and has some rott. It may be repairable or may need a transom, the rest of the transom looks ok though. Good news is the delamination on the hull bottom is not nearly as bad as I thought (barely even touches the fiberglass, looks as though only the gellcoat came off).Bottom line I don't have time to fix this. So any reasonable offer will be considered!!!
