HELP, I want to move south! Where?

I am tired of the snow and am ready to move south. The question is where. I want to be on the water. I want to look at Charleston, Savannah, and the Ft. Myers area- Venice to Naples. I need a decent High school, near a major airport (family is Los Angeles and London) and a hospital for work. Property in the $600-800,000 range. No manatees. Any suggestions. Thanks.

I live in Gulf Coast MS. The schools on the coast are excellent, rivers and back bay are inexpensive. I live on the water also, love it, and no Manatee's. The weather is not as nice as Florida in the winter, they are around 5-8 degrees cooler vs Ft Meyers. The summers are about the same. It is approx about 5-8 years behind the times, but I like it that way. Nice people, good food, much more affordable thats why all the Florida Condo developers are here now. If I can help let me know. No manatees, forget Florida. Doesn't matter if there are any here or not, the Save the Manatee Club insistes that you could walk around the state on their backs. I've lived in Florida for over 25 years and I have seen exactly one. Go figure...:rolleyes:
