Bye Bye Dodge, Hello Sierrra
With last weeks loving responce from the local Dodge dealers to my attempts to schedule service for the ball joint recall ... I replace the Dakota with a 2005 Sierrra 1500 Crew Cab.
With the recent posts of bad dealers/service, I also want to say that this was by far the most painless new truck purcahse I've ever gone through. We had talked by phone and internet over the last week so I knew what their inventory was, what the price was, what the rebates/incentives were and knew exactly where I stood going in. The only open item was what they would give for the old truck in trade, and they came out with exactly what I had predicted (and asked for) from the KBB data and local market listings. Outside of the usual amount of time to get paperwork ready to sign (still slow, but no different from any others I'd delt with) it was fast and easy.
So, I drove home an all Chevy family (1 truck, 3 Corvettes). I recommend Charlie Gammon at Jerry's Chevrolet in Baltimore to anyone looking for a new car/truck, as my service from him was excellent.

Nice truck.Congrats. I hate car shopping sounds like you found decent dealer. I hate the what will make you drive off right now BS stuff. Wife has new car (SUV) bug but I am fighting it best I can. I have the "its paid for" bug.
