Don't knock WHALERS, had one when I was 15 till 19 years old. 13 footer. Took off the 35 HP and put on a 60 HP w/ power trim. Flipped it over 2 times. Still ran like a champ after.

My buddy with the locall dealership here had a Jon Boat with a Merc 2.5 drag motor on it. it would chim walk a 75mph :eek: :D I ll see if I can find a picture :D
