Tell ya what....there's no doubt in my mind you will go faster tree to tree. I typically ride at 65. I'm not setting any world's records with that. I open it up in the field or on a lake. I've got too many kids counting on my coming home in one piece to play too hard.

But every once in a while I play hard.

The clutching is for the racing in the fields and on the lakes. Plus, let's be honest, when I give it some throttle...it just plain feels cool.

So, back to my question....what's the benefit of the team secondary?

Nah...it's all good.

And HA! I'm beginning to get an answer already (on a snowmobile board I frequent):

It will help to get the power from the engine to the track more efficiently than most stock clutches. Translation, faster sled.

Faster than my current faster?! I know what I want next Christmas! :D :evilb:

Ive never had one but from what I understand a roller secondary is a worthwhile investment albiet pricey

We got a GREAT price on the clutching from our local mechanic friend. The boy knows his stuff and races all over the place. Wonder if he could hook us up on the secondary too...

Forgive me but...I'm still kinda new and learning. I know Trav's got an MXZ. What do you ride?

I'm riding around on a Rev 600 HO SDI. Hubby's got a Rev 800X, and we've got 2 Polaris (Polari?) for the kids. One's an Indy 440 and the other is a 600 XPSP.

Thanks Mark.

JB kept talking about the back shifting. I'm so easy to amuse I couldn't care. I'm thinking if you let off on the throttle it slows down pretty darn good. He plays a lot harder than I do.

He needs one. Me...not so much. The boy needs one. Maybe I'll be a smart a$$ and get it for him for his birthday (in August).

I am running one of those nifty hyperlite secondaries from performance engineering & machine.... They advertise its the best one out there :D :D They proved it right... Hell of a clutch, and changing helix's, springs, deflection is very quick. But the best thing is it sure is pretty :D :D the waiting list they say is 4-6 weeks normally. But its more like 6 months LOL! alot of people ordered them.. took me 3 months too get it, had to get nasty with them so i was able to get it for my first trip... But it all came out good

can you say BLING BLING :D :D
