05 F-150 Chip it or Program it
 

I sold the F 350 diesel and got a new 150 for my daily driver. I liked the way the Hyper tech programmer made my 350 shift and I want to make the new one better but have been out of the loop on gas motors for about 8 years.

Who makes a good chip or programmer for the new 5.4 triton?

I don't want something that is real hard on the motor but I also am not worried about the warranty, I have connections at Ford that will keep me cool in the warranty department.

I will also be putting on an exhaust and some kind of air intake.

Either Hypertech or Predator will come out with a programmer for the 05 F 150. Neither has it available YET. I 'm sure they will soon. The Ford stock programming leaves a lot to be desired.

Diable Predator hands down. VERY cool product. Reads codes on all vehicles, and you can leave it plugged in while driving the vehicle it is keyed for and watch all your engine's functions real time.

Who Brian, Mark House ? I can get a good deal on almost anything, I just want to get some info and feed back to see whats best. I wont be towing any heavy stuff, just bikes and small boats. Mostly empty get out of my dam way driving.

Well it's the same as the 05 so we will see. I am going with the Air-Aid intake and the Gibson exh.

Yep, I figured you know the place and the folks. I buy most of my stuff thru Big Mark and Little Mark, and they return the favor.

Bian don't sell your boat, if you need a place to take all the chicks just call me and take them to the guest house, no need to pack up and move just because 75% of them know where you live. :drink:

Lapse,just remember a chip or programmer hardly makes any noticeable difference on a gas engine compared to your diesel! :rolleyes:
