Are you refering to Gino and Mark or BJ and Mark?
Both of these teams have smoked the competition on numerous occasions.
Both of these teams are National Champions. As you can see, I am only defending the talent and the manufacturer.
As far as your choices, I couldn't agree more.
But now you have to think of the Warlock and Kyptonite boys. They have more than once showed the skill set needed to win the race.
I am talking "Old School" Factory One racing.
This year should prove interesting with the new engine and drive configuration.

I'm a lurker and generally dont have to much input till I came across this thread. I have a 2005 22' Donzi Classic with 496HO B1X set up. 1.5:1 Spinning a 25P mirage +. WOT I turn 5150 and am boucing on the rev limiter at 74.5 or 74.6 MPH (GPS) every time dead on. Currently working on finding the right prop to bring down my RPM's a little and possibly improve handling (with a 4 blade). 27 mirage + is too big for me. I need a nice 26P i think. These numbers are in salt water FWIW. Anyhoo 74.6 is whats I get.

One of my Extreme 26's with a 502 Efi holds the National Speed Record over in the UK at 79.37mph. We're currently finishing a 24' with a 496HO.

I have my doubts about a Nordic 25 being capable of 80+mph, unless it was Powerboat Mag doing the testing. They do seem to achieve negative slip figures!

I put my fat a$$ in the cabin of the extreme as well. At 6', and 235 the door is TIGHT, but roomy enough to sit down without any problem once in. I think Dave something about if they don't fit through the door, they don't belong on the boat?

Put a 496HO in a 23 foot Checkmate Enforcer last July. After the break-in was over near the end of the season I was hitting the rev limit using a 27P Mirage (not a +) and the 75 MPH spedo was long gone. Switching to a 29 Mirage + this spring and buying a GPS.

I've been building a range of boats called Extreme since 1994, and Steve Baker has just retired having built Phantoms for 30+ years. The Phantom range are now built by 2 or 3 different companies in the UK.

Dont worry though, we don't mind you lot using the same names!!!!!
