There are just not that many alligators in Florida anymore. Too many Cajuns will good recipes have wiped them out! :D

I feel real bad for you. It was 17 degrees out this morning when I went to work. Do you guys ever have to put your boats away down there? I mean really.... what is the boating season in Florida?

Chewy: You can go out in Jan / Feb. When it gets too
cold, it doesn't last. The last freeze in Tampa was
possibly 7 hours at 32 degrees so we take some
precautions those nights. When it's 78, the water is still
cold so the air is cool feeling. We went out on New
Years Day and by 4:00 p.m. we were bundled up! :D

We took the boat out day before yesterday, it was close to 80 degrees, but on the water at speed it felt like 50!

It should be even better to clean after tonight. At least in the keys ... I can hardly wait to see our pool in the morning. Very windy tonight and too cold.!

Sure we do thats why we all moved from the cold north, I am from Michigan originally, and have spent time in Iceland, Greenland, Northern Norway above the artic circle, And Yes i still like snow for skiing, but that can be done on vacation. Just like the snowbirds come to the warmth for two weeks. :drink:

Coldest day in Florida so far this year was the day I landed friday. Sorry guys but I think some of my schity cold air followed me :( .

But its nice here today in Pompano.

High of 75 today and the gulf is flat as a pancake with slight SE winds? Another Perfect boating day in SW Florida.

Took my usual AM walk on the beach several offshores were heading south. By the direction they were KW bound!

We miss boating with you guy's. Ran to Mar Vista for Sunday lunch. Weather was nice, wind was cold though.
