Ed,
Perhaps you should email OSO and bring it to their attention.
You may get a quicker response...
Good luck...

Wink Re: Ummm. Maybe you didn't see this...

I emailed Just Perfect to remind him about his outstanding balance with me and he wants me to meet him at the boat show. He is trying to find fault with all the work I had done for him.

I posted the FIRST day the thread started ....just a general Comment about how well Ed's respected here and has a reputation that is hard to beat ....IMO that should have been posted .... Of course they have been busy with technical issues so maybe thats it ...
To "Just perfect" .... I purchased a Surveyed 311 that was quote " a 9 out of 10" by the surveyor. Since April 04 I have put out almost 20K ...in repairs to keep it running .. No I havent been happy .... YES I paid the Surveyor ... Life goes on ...... Ed .... you'll NEVER make everyone happy .....course you know that .......

I will travel anywhere in Florida to do a survey for an OSO member.
Sorry you had a less than accurate survey from one of my fellow dudes.
In order to make Just Perfect happy I would have needed X-ray vision.

Exclamation Re: Ummm. Maybe you didn't see this...

Guess what I just learned that you all should be aware of:

In a "Disclosure State", and Florida is one, you must disclose if the boat has sunk or had any major damage to hull or machinery. IF THE BOAT IS REPOSSESSED OR DONATED, THE OWNER IS NOT OBLIGATED TO DISCLOSE ANYTHING!

Nice way to get out of telling the truth about what happened to your boat. Donate it or let the bank take it back...

Well I hate to say it but maybe it's time for the "bad business forum" to go away. I know everyone is busy but If it isn't going to be updated within a reasonable timeframe then it isn't doing anyone any justice.

Ed, Your attempt to respond to the person making the complaint should have been approved within 24hrs and posted or if not approved then a reason given to you

my $.02

I am being put in the position of defending my position by referring people to this thread.
This is not fair, as I responded to Just Perfect's thread immediately after it was brought to my attention.
He is accomplishing what he set out to do and OSO is inadvertently helping him.
I have PM'ed OSO twice with no reply as of yet.
