looking for swimplatform?
 

Looking for some ideas or shops that can fabricate custom aluminum swim platform or even used platform in good condition. For the kids, I have a 26' custom performance boat similiar to pantera and superboat, has to mount high , above exhaust tips. Preferrably central jersey shore area. thanks vic :chimp: :chimp:

B-bracket in FL does them for Cig I think

Jim Kruse at Lake of the Ozarks makes them for half what extreme charges. powdercoated any color you want.

I did mention that B-bracket never called me back, what I forgot to mention is that I did speak to Jim at Extreme Marine and he was very nice and professional. :drink:

I actually just talked to Jim....his price is $1400.00. Extreme is at $1,575 right now for theirs.

Jim's is 22" and any larger would be custom and more money.
Extreme's is 26" with grabhandle built-in for the price above. They also make a 31" platform.

His is only $150 cheaper, but his swimstep is also smaller.

Risky,I have a fiberglass platform that I don't want ,you could have it for free.

George, can you E-mail pic I am interested if clean and I can mount high on transom above thru hull exhaust tips. (ninvic@ opt online.net ) BTW risky is my dogs name, mine is vic that and every other name was taken when I joined website.

I agree, but he wasn't going to negotiate, so I am buying from Extreme.

sorry for the late reply. been out of town.

i appologize for the bad info. i KNOW i saw someone post awhile back that the extreme platform was in the 2000.00 + range. maybe thats what manufacturers are charging to have one installed on a new boat as an option? dont know......again sorry for posting bad info :(

Vic could not use the fiberglass swim platform so if anyone else is interested they can have ,free.
