It works good but I think I spent $25 a quart on the stuff. Im pretty sure it is nothing more than lighter fluid at a couple bucks a pint. Thats all I use now. (dont smoke)

Its 6 dollars at NAPA, there is stuff thats more potent, but this wont affect paint or gelcoat. When I remove film from someones car, I sometimes need it. being patient with it is the key, allowing it to penetrat the adhesive.

5200 is a bit(h to get off no matter what you use. The "5200" Remover works, but it's still a lot of elbow grease involved.
Good luck.

you are right, the only thing that will get this stuff off is Anti-Bond 2015, it is a spray can that is made to dissolve all polyurethane based adhesives and sealants, it sells for 9 bucks at west marine, model#1174804

5200 is not "glue" or "caulk". It is mega-strength polyurethane and it will bond itself to just about anything, including mirror polished stainless steel, plastics, and it even tries to stick to greasy surfaces.

Adhesive remover is only a tiny bit better than nothing.

Anti-bond was expressly designed to kill 5200. But it's like wallpaper remover. You gotta razor blade off the bulk of it, then work from the edges inward with the AntiBond. But it WILL get it.
