Ended up going to a local shop that does upholstery work on boats, hot rods, etc. He had about a half dozen catalogs of marine carpet...found exactly what I wanted, no shipping.
As for getting the old carpet out, I'm the wrong guy to ask. I used a circular saw and took the floor with it. :D

rainmn, I have a shore house in Toms River and do my boating in Barnegat Bay. What is the name and location of the local shop that does upholstery work on boats?

The place is called Stitches. It's on 9 in Tuckerton, I believe, or it might still be West Creek there. Right next to the State Police.
I can't tell you anything good or bad about their work, as I haven't used them for anything other than a quick patch on the trunk liner of my Porsche.
You might want to try a search on the board. For some reason, I think someone may have posted something about a bad experience a while back. Not positive on that though.
