this is not gary montano's boat. the owner was at the show dressed (as was randy scism) in speed racer shirts. i forget his name, although he was very nice. he mentioned that he had in fact got permission first before doing this project. he said he had done other theme boats prior to this one and has made it a habit to get permission first.

The one that went over on the Bay was doing about 170, was a sad day indeed. Everyone at Redeyes had to wait whenever he fired it up. Last I heard the passenger Roger, was never found...real sad day.

When that one blows over at 200 mph like the one in Maryland last year I wonder wich Insurance Company's performance plan will be wipped out this time? Maybe I'll be lucky and it won't be the one I use this time...
To be fair however I think this question fits more and more non-canopy boats ... and I even wonder if a canopy would help at 200 MPH.
