WOW!! Thanks for the replies.

We are going to stay in key west, don't really want to drive anywhere.

We are leaving the kids at home for the week. WooHoo!

Southern Most people have been nice on the phone. OK place? We'd like to be near a beach. How far to the races from there? Walking distance?

If this link doesn't help you find a room, it should at least get you psyched for the races! Good luck! :drink:

There are now three Hyatts. The two at the other end of the island are brand new vacation resorts......time shares currently for rent. We just returned from Hyatt Windward Pointe. Our second year there. You can get a fully furnished 2 bedroom/2 bath condo at either one for about $250 a night on Expedia. Awesome pool and the big beach is a short walk from there. It is $3.50 per person to catch a cab downtown.
