New Truck deals
Before my truck rolls over 100k and loses all it's trade value (88k now) I've been thinking of taking a look at 1500 Dodge SWB quad 4x4 auto hemi. Several dealers around here are advertizing 10k off sticker for both Dodge and Chevy, but I like my current Dakota better than my prior 2 Chevy's. Anyone have one? Good / bad / indifferent? Any OSO deals at that level or better?

I Have The Same truck You are Looking To Buy Its A Great Truck Pulls My 36 Mirage No problem .Just A Little Thirsty When You Tow . On The Road Not Pulling It Gets 15.5 Not Bad . I Had a 2002 With A 360 It Wasnt Bad But The Hemi Has A Lot More Balls Than The 360 I Guess Its Up To Your Likings. I Had Chevys Had Brake Problems On Both Good LuckIn Your Choice

The Hemi is a high revving engine but not as much low end torque. The GM 6.0 liter is available in the 1500 Crew Cab. The 6 liter motor was tested in Powerboat recently (feb. issue?) and they were really impressed with it. They said it pulled better the Ford V10. The Hemi IS thirsty, the GM's get the best gas mileage of the Detroit gas engines.
Dodge has done a nice job with the Ram, I do not think their trannies are as good as Gm's though.
