Beware Of This Boat Broker In Austin, Texas!!

4-PLAY MARINE AND RV in Austin, Tx. (Lakeway) His name his J.P.Price ( John Perry Price) and he sold my boat out from under me. He got a $51,000.00 down payment, and left my holding the note. I sued him and won, but have an expensive piece of paper. (Judgement) SEE "HELP, BOAT BROKER ROBBED MY BOAT"

Well,

Did you transfer the title? Boats have titles or costguard doc that you have to sign to transfer the title or did you sign a power of attorney for the broker? If you did that without payment then you made a huge error in judgment.

If you didn't sign the boat over then go get it it's still yours ALA the National Marine episode.

It might be embarrasing but you should share exactly what happend so others can learn from your mistake.

Check with your attorney then, you say duplicate, I assume the bank has the original? If so go get the boat it's still yours. The other guy is out whatever he/she paid.

Agree with Von Bongo,
Without you signing the title/ registration over..how did the buyer title or finance the boat?
