Maaco the rip off!! Where they leave you with orange peal...where they mix their own blends that never match factory colors...so your screwed the next time ya smash her...where the mexicans do a half a s s tape job and never clean the over spray off...ah oh better get Maaco. :eek:

honestly you shoud be looking at about $2500-3500.00 for a nice job if it is a straight truck without any real body work. i have been painting at all levels for about 15 or twenty years. what kind of prices have you got so far?

Yep, stay away from the low budget shops. Are you repainting it green, or changing colors?

We did this one for about $14,000 but who's counting anyway?
but we had to remove the old graphics first that was about $3,000 of the Job

looking at alot of work to do it right. r + i the trim , bed sides , the bed , color change means breaking down the doors ( big pain) etc . production ( collision) painters don't like those big jobs. i won't do something like that . too big to fit in the booth , bulky , arkward to work on ,(pita) some shops specialize in " big " paint work. you would be looking at 4-6 k here- base cost. that's alot of coin for something that already looks clean. maybe a little color along the bottom?.

When i was working in the bilge,Zul was helping me and he was standing on the driveshaft cover.Philly walked over and had a heart attack. :eek:
