Are you saying that Shooters actually charges the fire districts for use of the docks during this event? Seems odd if this is true considering everything they have to gain just for hosting it.

On another note...Why would anyone complain about having to run a few miles either way up the lake to enjoy the Shootout? What's the point of owning these types of toys if we can't go out and enjoy them the way they were meant to be used?

i run from the 6 to the 52 for fun, i don't think going from shooters to HT is gonna stop anybody from coming out, maybe the opposite, probably more people at that part of the lake...
