Listen to this! I spoke to Fred today and he said he was going to try to have his boat done for the Sarasota Poker Run in 3 weeks!!! I have $500 that says he will never make it! I actually think he's installing all of his parts he sells in his boat so he can use it as a showroom display. Has anyone ever actually seen his boat???

Fred, Why don't you post a picture of the progress of YOUR BOAT. A picture of someone elses boat does nothing for your Credability!! I'll tell you what, You make it to Sarasota, I'll pay your entry fee!!

Come on Fred , you are a Stainless Marine guy, they do some of the nicest exhaust around I am sure you can sweet talk them into getting your stuff done ASAP. I can slap some color on it too if you come down.

I have seen Fred's boat in person (see attached). Grant it, this was in June 2004.

At that time, there was much to be done to this monster of a boat!!! The drives, engines and most everything else was out of the boat. Mr. Cecil did have that gleam in his eye, as if he could actually picture the boat in the water. :rolleyes:

As for the rest of us, I think we've been down this tall tale before . . . but I don't know if I'd bet against him, he seems to have everything in order to meet the challenge. Mark who built the motors and that is helping finish the boat is a perfectionist as you can tell by the motors. I'm sure the rest of the boat will be more of the same quality. We know Fred won't get in the boat if it's in the water, but maybe Mark will take it for it's maiden voyage!! :D :D :D
