Shiny motors
I need some tips on keeping my 500EFI's shiny, clean and free from corrosion. They are used in salt water. What are the best products and where do you use them?? Thanks.

Re: Shiny motors
CRC Products is the way to go!!! Leaves a much heavier shiny layer of protection on the motors. I order it by the gallon from Boaters world!
I use to work at a jet ski, parasail and waterski place "Mocean Water Safaris" and they used it, I use to use wd40 and like CRC 6-56 much better.

I use it on my jet skis too. after flushing and hosing down the motors, I spray this chit on it and it looks spankin new and keeps out the rust and corrosion. better than WD40

Re: Shiny motors
For the bilge.... Try granular dishwasher detergent from a box or the washing machine granular soap in a box. I found the granular did a little better job as it's washing around in there. Put some in the bilge and a little water before you go boating for the day and then empty when you put the boat on the trailer. Keeps the bilge nice and clean.
