thanks Bryan, ill let you know right now i only get a couple hours a night to work on it but when the weather gets better ill be more motivated

I did the same exact thing your doing last winter at about the same time. Refreshed the engines and boosted them up a bit, cleaned the bilge, added hydraulic steering, etc. It was a lot of work, then I had trouble with the engines all summer. Only ran the boat about 18 hours total, and missed the NYC Poker Run. A bearing went and I had hardly any oil pressure in the left engine...pulled the motor back out and sent it back (warranty). Now were just putting them back in, but I am definately keeping my fingers crossed. Good luck to you...I love that boat.

got a deal on a piece of stainless for my steering bracket. i only needed a piece 6x11x1/2" i found a cut piece 6x44x1/2" and they wanted $88 for it and a minumin of $20 to cut it. i ended up with it for $40 cash :D :D you never know when you might need it for another bracket or something

now i can copy that to the stainless and then get it polished. It sure beats pluging holes cloth and resin and paint and all that :D

today i pulled out the factory steering cable , my boat has the extended cockpitso you know how long that cable is. and mounted the hydraulic steering control valve.

ops that last picture wasnt right. im also installing cordless rotary trim so i dont have wires wrapped around steering wheel
