Default Cigarette vs. Post Yacht

Anyone got any idea how much diesel horsepower you'd need to toss into a Post Yacht to get 38 Cigarette top speed out of it? Has anyone ever put chrome diesel truck stacks up alongside the flying bridge on one of those?

Question Silent Choice

I did not know they made a silent choice tip that big for a 12,000 hp MAN diesel ---cause it would take two of those babies to get 60 mph out of that Post.

Keep in mind that we're talking about a very heavy 38 Cigarette Flat Deck and it's corresponding top speed, not one of the new, svelte by comparison, twin-stepped 38s. So, we probably won't need 24,000hp total. Maybe we'll need something more like 18,000-20,000hp total!

LOL
Ya know......
I just knew, when I saw the subject of this post, that it just might have something to do with me.
It seems possible that it may be an understated jab taken at me because of the change in my boating speed.
Perhaps due to Mr Ritters implications and allegations this might have breeched the terms of the confidentiality agreement and arbitration may be needed between the LLC. OOOPS!!! wrong post
I think I need a drink!

ps Dave.
AAA Rims (not AAA Tire) is in Holland. I was just wondering if you knew anyone there. I'm looking at a set of rims for my BMW

Default I Had The First Post SF To.....

In 1982 I had the first 42' Post to break 34 Knots, DD 671 Turbo's intercooled and aftercooled with M95 injectors. Motors were modified by Johnson & Towers, most other big SF were crusing at 18 to 20 knots we could hold 27+ all day. Running 85 miles back from the canyons we'd smoke most of the fleet by over an hour!
Wow this just brought back a lot a memories...........
