anyone boat on Kentucky lake. need info like best place to put in Ramp wise on north east side ,places to go ,hotels,cabins

If your not familiar with the area i would say Kentucky Dam marina. the Moore's resort is a nice place to stay with cabins. once on water their are a few restaurants you can boat to. the main hang out is the Rock quarry. ck. www.kentuckylake.com.

How can I get some info. on the Kentucky Lake Poker Run? I'm in Bowling Green and would like to know more about the run. I know mid-american was running this, are they still? Is shallow water much to worry about?

Mid-american isn't doing KY Lake but I think Mama Tryed is. I would like info as well.

The Date of the Run is Sat. July the 9th at the Ky. Dam Marina, Drivers meeting 9.30 1st Boats out at 10.00am
The Host Hotel is the Ky. Dam Resort tel#800-325-0146

These hotels have rooms reserved for us, on a first come first served basis. The Marina is also holding Slips for us. The Marina no. is 270-362-8386
The Format this year will be similar to the Emerald Coast run, that is if you want to make all 7 stops, you can open 7 Cards or if you want to get your Five and hang out at the Rock Quarry the rest of the Day, thats fine too!! Mileage will be from around 65 miles to 85, depending on how many stops you want to make.
The evening festivities begin with a Prime rib dinner at 6.00pm then awards and party after that, at the Ky. Dam Convention Center.( air conditioning) With our Great sponsors this year, the entry-fee will be 80.00, with the proceeds of the event, going to the Ky. National Guard, 438th M.P Co. family support group. At last count, I think they have around 30 brave Men and Women, deployed overseas!!!

Indiana Heat have we meet @ the rock quarry before? i was in a 35 Fontain with the race flag graffix.
