Unlike the east coast ...6-8 in the gulf is "not fun" generally very mushy...no cosistancy. Hard on equipment. and crew!

Hellfire Will not be ready for this weekend "blew up ANOTHER" dyno! That's two now. Need a Dyno to set Hp Levels

don't know yet the chassis dyno guy we are going to use in springfield is out of town till next week, but going out and driving it I would say it was fun. would probably take some practice to be able to get traction.

I've been busy! :( Parents have been in Florida for a couple of weeks. Rub it in on the Sarasota trip :( I would have gotten back on Monday, and am leaving for Colorado on Wednesday, so Sarasota ain't in the cards this trip :( :( :(

My friend Juile and I are heading over tomorrow. I will be promoting Tres Martin's Performance boating school. This a a great way for all you performance boaters to save on insurance, and a great way for those with 125mph boats to get insurance. Not to mention you will learn a lot and its fun! :D :D

Forecast is much better for Sunday: 3 to 5's.

Do they have a "rain-date?"

Do they ever change the planned course, due to sea conditions?

A run north, inside, up Sarasota Bay into Tampa Bay would probably be only half as rough. And the macho-men could go outide either north or south, if they want to prove something. (Not sure if the tow-boats can get to them quickly in 6 to 8's.)

Of course, changing the lunch-stop could be difficult at this late date.

I suppose they could stick with the planned route, and give folks the option of going down to South Seas plantation inside, but with all of the manatee zones and speed limits, it's hardly a real poker-run. And it would take hours longer.
