Last set of dyno pulls on the first motor, this morning 1353hp. I like having the bragging right but doubt that I'll run that setup.

Man that is some POWER. If you can still run CYC fuel on it, I say go for it.

Definitely need to show Jim. If Jim gets outran, it usually only happens once. :D

Na, those are race fuel #'s. They're going to tune it for 93 now, Probably in the 1200hp range. That's still 400 more hp that I had though.

I can't wait for everything to kick off. I think It's almost as fun to talk about the 3#'s as it is to race them.

That is the kind of info the owner does not need to know.

They changed the lunch stop I heard to Gators at Johns Pass. That inside track would be the best, but your going to here about it if you do. On the outside thats gotta be 25-30 miles of 6-8 footers.NAAAAAAAAAA. Fuel and insurance for me are already off the charts. Inside is safe with those conditions. They ran balls to da wall last time offshore and I was impressed, but my pockets aren't that DEEP.

Yeah, last year was rough. Seems every other weather forcast changes. First it's getting better, then it's getting worse. We won't know until ten am Saturday morning.

EIGHT MORE HOURS TO TAKE OFF. Skater's there waiting

BigSilverCat 03-31-2005 09:10 PM

Re: Sarasota, you ready?

well back on the road again, not having motors in the back of this boat on an aluminum trailer makes it bounce so bad that you cannot carry on a conversation because it is knocking your breath out. so instead of 600 hp on the back we have 600 ft/lbs,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,of concrete, I hope it doesnt rain.

(sound effects, drip drip drip) hummm now it looks like it is raining. can you check the weather channel and see if we are going to hit rain?

maybe we should stop by another lowes and buy some wood and just go ahead and form up some walls on the back of the boat for a photo platform. there will be a charge for the upgraded boat modifications.

BigSilverCat 03-31-2005 09:26 PM

Re: Sarasota, you ready?

hey P offshore, james says tell your dad to buy a c-130 cargo plane and we can put all the boats in it and fly them where ever we need to go.

wait a minuite if were going to do that lets just get a cargo sea-plane and then we could just land and open the back up and just drive the boats out.

BigSilverCat 03-31-2005 09:29 PM

Re: Sarasota, you ready?

actually, a cargo helicopter would probably work better for james so he could drop the boat at the start of the poker run and then use the helo to take pics out of.

Re: Sarasota, you ready?

damm are we borred.

we are working on light theory and sonic booms right now and we are only 1/3 of the way there. anyone got any nodose?

HEY,,, were driving into a lightening storm right now, and remember the movie where the guy puts a metal rod in the sand and lightening hits it and the sand turns into a cool glass figure? well I wonder if we put some rods in the 17 - 50 lb bags of sand we have in the back of the boat if we can get it struck by lightening???? JAMES pull over at the next lowes for some rebar.

whatever we sell the glass for we will take half of the sell price off your towing expense .

Re: Sarasota, you ready?

james said he's only going to charge you 1/2 the price of the custom bug deflector he put on the back of his truck, he said it is protecting the new paint pretty good, but when we stopped in baton rouge, la to eat some one spray painted APACHE down the side of the boat, should we wait to buff it off till the clear has longer to cure?

at the last lowes we stopped at to get the rebar for our lightining rods, the employees came out and said that was the biggest fishing boat they had ever seen.

somehow we have made it from baton rouge, la to panama city, fl and I dont know how we got here. I thought james was driving but he was in the passenger seat, hmmmmm. were you driving sean? I was asleep so I dont know who was driving.

we have been in so bad of a storm that we thought we were going to launch the boat on the highway.

Re: Sarasota, you ready?

"BYC" congrats, you just managed to drive through the middle of the whole storm. From what they just said on the weather forcast, it appears you and the storm were "riding buddies". Glad you made it safely.

BigSilverCat 04-01-2005 06:18 AM

Re: Sarasota, you ready?

the trailer the motors are in better not shake like this one did or when you get the motors they might have concrete oil pans.

BigSilverCat 04-01-2005 06:21 AM

Re: Sarasota, you ready?

that storm was so bad you cannot belive the amount of water, we were on the interstate driving 5 MPH in water that was 1 1/2 feet deep. if it kept raining like that for much longer they would have had to shut down the highway.

the good thing was that i was falling asleep and everytime the truck would hydroplane it would wake me back up.

BigSilverCat 04-01-2005 06:31 AM

Re: Sarasota, you ready?

the storm had just enough rain to soak into the concrete bags and make them set up good. too bad we could not find another lowes that was still open to be able to form up the photo platform

by the way, any of you guys from sarasota know where to rent a jackhammer

Now that sounds like offshore Boating Weather! I don't understand why you would want it to be like a lake ride. Deal with what you are given for weather and maybe keep a hand on the Throttle. :drink:
