Paint removal

I know some of you chimed in about using oven cleaner to remove paint on gelcoat but I tried and it did not work any other suggestions.I do not have too much to do I just want the boat all white so I can put some graphics on.Thanks.

Wet sand and buff it out. That is what we did to take the name and numbers off of Steve H 's Apache since they where painted on.

Try goof off yellow can. Home depot.
Theres other dumb named stuff on the same shelf make sure it GOOF OFF I use it every day on imposable paint situations works great.

What grit sandpaper do you use to not damage the gel coat?
