82mph 30" pitch props 1.5 gears on the drives with the tattletale comfirming the speed. Propbably the faster stock 38 PQ around. Still wanting a true Cigarette boat.

to be determined.... hoping for 80 ,but whatever it is, thats as good as my wallett is willing to give. 520 hp 502 , bravo 1 drive 1:5to1, 26p bravo1 prop lab finished, just finished raising "x" 3inches, custom paint by me (got to be good for a couple mph!!! :D ) 24 foot CONDOR 7 FT BEAM 4500 LBS. 2800 rpm 50 mph trim @ 4, perfect for me. Great mpg and extended engine life.

The best I saw year before last was 83 GPH. 386 Sonic, 575SCi's. XR'r W/IMCO boxes, 32 labed B1's.

Hope to see 85 this year but 83 will be fine. :D

2000 baja 272,84.5 mph very last ride last year w/around 130 hours on blown 540,hoping for 90-92 this year after freshening/upgrading motor,went 85.1 when motor was fresher,Smitty

Last season in our Kevlar Top Gun when the waters in the bay were rough enough fully loaded we could hit 82.5mph@ 5400rpms on gps with the stock 600SCs .
This season with brand new 800s and bigger props she will be in the mid 90s with a much better cruise speed which is what I look forward to more than my max mph!

31 AO went 113 down river at best point 1/50 ratio 33 pitch at 6200. I need 1/36s spinning at 6000

Same boat, same props, pretty much the same engines...same exact speed.

I had 3 blades on there before. Then I put on those quad 4 26's on there and its way better out of the hole, but I think it took away from the top speed a little.

2001 Nordic Heat, 28' single step, HP575 with a little work, Imco lower, 1.5 gears, 28" Hydromotive P5-X, 85MPH/GPS @ 5600 RPM.
Hot weather and heavy loads (seems like they go together :rolleyes: ) knock off a few MPHs.

I already have waiting to install extension boxes and a tunnel tab. Maybe, just maybe, I'll get some Whipples for this winter's project. :D :D
