Default New Clarion Stereo help??

Well I finally found out that we aren't getting hit as hard as I thought on Taxes this year, so I've got the go ahead on the stereo!!!

I decided to replace the old Clarion Stereo, Amp, CD Changer with newer versions of Clarion. I'm hoping that I can use alot of the same wireing!?!? I'm also replacing the VCR with a Dvd/Vcr combo and the old tube style TV to a LCD Flat Screen.

Where is the BEST/Cheapest place to buy Clarion Stereo equipment?? I want the CMD4 Stereo, two CMRC1 remotes, the 6 disk changer, I think the smaller 160w amp.

Anyone have anything good or bad to say about Clarion???

Try Ebay, you might be surprised on how much cheaper they are. I have had pretty good luck buying stereo equipment off Ebay.

Thanks!! I'll try etronics.com

I've been keeping a eye on e-bay, and I think I can pick up the remote, CD Changer, and possibly the AMP. But the head unit is to "NEW" I guess, I haven't seen the one I want on there.

The thing that scares me about E-Bay is buying something that is not compatible with the head unit or vice versa. Like the wrong remote.......I guess I'll just have to do a little homework!!

The CMD4 runs around $400.00 and the CMRC2 remote is around $100.00. I just bought the CMD4 along with the remote, a 320 watt amp, a 160 watt amp (for the sub) with a couple of Poly-planar 6", a couple of Poly-planar 6x9's and a Poly-planar 10" Sub along with a Sirus satelite unit. Dave

Yes, The remote is on BO due to be shipped on April 13. I bought it through my Port Supply account. Let me know if you need some help ordering this. Dave
