I think this is the plug.....it's the F4 at Sunsation? Didn't steve call it the F4? A friend sent me a link to SpeekWack...it's on there.

It's definitely a plug given the plywood lip around the edge. The notched transom is interesting, but I don't see that the forward notches would do much. They shouldn't be in the water at running speed.
