Thank God i never had any luck like that. Mash, my brother lives in King George on the potomac, has a house right on the end w/ 7 acres just built a 400 ft pier, directly across from Robinson's and capt Billy's. I'm not worried about getting passed... just hand me the 200mph duct tape

LOL! I have probably been to his place or very very close to it... I boated there with a guy who had a 35 beak boat.. We developed The Meadows at Dahlgren... which is almost next door, just up the river and several communites further down towards the bay.
Capt. Billy bought a few homesites from us in there. He was a very cool guy. I know he fought cancer for years and passed away right after I moved. We ate at his place once a week... back when he ran it he would load us up with food.. good friends of mine Gary Butler and Sam Steele are natives of that area.
I loved the area! Great Seafood... You probably ate at Fairview Beach many times... I forgot the name of the place but it was good!!

My family has property at Cobb Island, Billy was a very cool guy, built up the place when his brother ran Robertsons into the ground. He still had a zest for life even after his son Garrett died back in the 80's. Our house is on Neale Sound, which is protected from the rivers, but has very narrow channels. At real low tides it can get within a foot of the bottom in the sound and the silt is real bad. Normally we hit Capt Johns for crabs or steam our own, have a keg special just for it.
