Re: no speculation on why but bad wreck
That boat has (had) some really nice lines. I never really looked at a Sunsation, but it is sharp.

Re: no speculation on why but bad wreck

Re: no speculation on why but bad wreck
I was going to go for a ride right before this happened. THANK GOD! I also watched this guy fly up to a pontoon boat and turn and spray them right before this happened. Definitely driver error! I also heard that this guy spun a boat out last year too. Maybe he should switch to F-1. Later, Dave

Re: no speculation on why but bad wreck
Whats up with the sled in the water? Was there ice? How do they stay afloat?
I'm guessing you start off fast on land hit the water and aim for the other side? But how do you run them on land without snow? Trying not to go off topic but I would really like to know after seeing the picture. |

Re: no speculation on why but bad wreck
Right after he sprayed the pontoon is when it happened about 5 mile down river. I was in a little 14 foot row boat and thought he was gonna come back a spray us. I had an empty bottle ready.
The guys on the sleds pretty much start about 2 feet from water and then horsepower and wieght distribution takes over. Actually the guy in the picture is on a 440 mod Ski-Doo Rev.They ended rideing about 4.5 miles. Later, Dave |
