I was going to go for a ride right before this happened. THANK GOD! I also watched this guy fly up to a pontoon boat and turn and spray them right before this happened. Definitely driver error! I also heard that this guy spun a boat out last year too. Maybe he should switch to F-1. Later, Dave

Whats up with the sled in the water? Was there ice? How do they stay afloat?
I'm guessing you start off fast on land hit the water and aim for the other side? But how do you run them on land without snow?

Trying not to go off topic but I would really like to know after seeing the picture.

What a dick. I'd be waiting for him at the dock if he pulled that on me.

Right after he sprayed the pontoon is when it happened about 5 mile down river. I was in a little 14 foot row boat and thought he was gonna come back a spray us. I had an empty bottle ready.
The guys on the sleds pretty much start about 2 feet from water and then horsepower and wieght distribution takes over. Actually the guy in the picture is on a 440 mod Ski-Doo Rev.They ended rideing about 4.5 miles. Later, Dave

They are basically "skiing".

The track acts as a paddle wheel.

As long as you keep your speed up,
and the drive belt dry, the'll go for a long way.

Can't dealerships see guys like this a mile away? or are they just worried about making a buck on the sale. Either way, this guy is an idiot to say the least and unfortunately everyone gets a black eye because of it. He's just lucky no one got hurt.
