Does anybody know anything about this Mistress. I sent the owner an email, to see if he would take a trade. I know the draw back is the TRS drives. What do you guys think about this package. I still want to be in a cigarette this summer.
this is the machine

Re: cigarette
That's Fred from Trick Marine's old boat. I got a first hand look it it when Fred owned it a year or so ago. It's a real sweet rig with some very interesting history (orig owner was connected to Led Zeppelin if I remember)
I've followed the progress on this boat since Fred sold it to Monty. In my opinion, he's done an incredible job of updating this sweet classic without molesting it. There's been a lot of $$ put into this boat within the last year. It's a beautiful classic rig that should (if maintained properly) hold its value for a long time to come.
Lastly, the fact that it's a TRS boat is nothing but a benefit at this point. I would not want an old Mistress with Bravo drives. The nice thing about an old TRS boat is if you have a drive failure, bolt on a pair of Konrad's (one day conversion done with simple hand tools) and have a sweet 'ol offshore rig with the reliability of an old John Deere
