Yep, used the 1/2" allen wrench many times on this. Don't for get to use locktite and torque it when reassembly.

Thanks guys. Now all I need to do is find a 1/2 inch
allen somewhere.

Just get the allen wrench and cut the short leg off with a cut off saw and use in a 1/2" socket. Wa La!

Be careful if you use the allen. If it doesn't come easily, don't twist till it strips. The tool will do a better job than the allen if they are sticky. I stripped one with an allen, then got the others with the tool no problem. Then we used an easyout on the stripped one, but it was trashed at that point.

Helicoil

Anyone have the part number and the size for the threads? I have the same issue on my Bravo 3. Part number for the hill coil kit would be great. And what size drill.

They are all over Amazon. Also, you may have to heat up the pins to get them out if they were installed correctly the last time. Might as well plan on putting a heli-coil or two in also. Use red loc-tite when installing the heli-coil too.

I'm looking in my old orders for the bit size, but not finding it. It should be on the helicoil website.
I have it out in my shop if I get a chance to find it before someone else posts the size.
