Did they change the Imcos . Mine just bolted on to my Scarab 1989 model tramsom assembly?

Just left MRD marine,have to cut bottom of helmet to allow water pickup to clear> I got home cut it off and it still wont go in.I pushed enough to move the boat and trailer so there's a problem.Went and got the alignment tool just to make sure and yes its the wrong Fnnnnn tool.Someone modified a regular bravo by 7 inches but the bearing is way to big on the xr so you cant align without the proper tool.Moral of the story by the right tool for the job so you dont end up as one.
