how fast is this old boat?
 

I wounder what to expect out of my boat. It is newly repowerd with about 500 hp on a trs new hipo trany 10-17.
Old 1986 baja 25 or force 250 new paint and seems like everthing in between at this point.
I want to know what to expect on this old boat if I expect to much I will be upset so?
old 330 newer pistions .103 dome hypertechtic cam=544i 547e 226i dur 236e dur 112 cl new stainless exh.
rpm intake new edelbrock heads oval marine, 110 chamber.
new stringers exc.
before old motor ran 51gps old set up , new motor with out heads and cam ran 54.
any guess would be appreaceaed.

If that has the cast crank in it.. dont wind it too tight. I had a friend break one years ago. That boat is a heavy one.. I had one. Like you said 51mph with the 330 motor. I would guess 60mph, takes a lot of power to make that one go.. good luck with it..
