Did Merc Make A Carb 454 Mag In 97'

Did Mercury make a 454 Mag Carburated (385hp)engine in 1997? I looked at a boat and it has a Carb 454 Mag boat is a 1997. they say its orig engine. But I thought they were all injected by 1997??????????

As far as I know the carb models were still available in 97 even after EFI was introduced the carb motors were still an option.
