Fuel filter?

I have a Question regarding the new carb I have on my motor.
Where am I supposed to put a fuel filter on my new holly 800 ?
I had a q-junk now holly d/p .
I also have to figure the best way to plum the fuel lines with no clamps.
I know there are so-many people out there that have done this but I have never asked. I cant just use the water separator can I?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: Fuel filter?

My Holley has small screen filters just inside of the fuel inlets on the carb.
I have that and the water sep filter and thats it. Thats on a 525SC.

Re: Fuel filter?

YEP.
Water separator acts as a good fuel filter.
That is all I have ever run also.
