Rubber bushing for nose of Bravo 1 drive

1988 Formula-F-311, 454 mag - 365hp.. I just pulled the Bravo-1
out-drive and and engine, port side, and noticed a deteriorated rubber bushing that existed in the flywheel. Was this intended for the tip of the Bravo input shaft? I have a thread and some pics of this engine removal in the Formula forum under 311 rebuild. Thanks for any help / advice that you can offer.

Any thoughts on this bushing and where it may found?

I looked at your other pictures in the Formula thread but they don't show what you are talking about . if you could post a pisture I'm sure it can be identified.
