How to Build 500hp from a 454/420hp?

I recently purchased a set of 454cu/ 420 hp long blocks. I want to replace the cams, pistons, and re-work the iron heads etc.

Is 500hp possible with pistons, intakes, cams and flow work on iron heads ?

I will be installing these in a 89' Formula 272 with Gil exhaust manifolds.

Lastly, Will Hp500 Dart intakes fit 454/420's?
