Thanks Mesa!... I was really wondering about if they had a high annual/hourly maintenance cost..... Would I be looking at 150 to 200 hours between refreshing? They have about 200 hours right now I would assume they would need to be gone through... do you have any thoughts on that? Thanks Jim

I could be wrong, but I kind of remember ( :drink:  ) the Merc guy at the Miami show saying that you need to rebuild the top end of the 900's every 100 hours (it might have been less maybe 60 hours?). I think it was the '02 or '03 show that Merc Racing was offering the first rebuild for free if you bought them.

What are you looking at Masher?????????????

Covert Operation... like you Craig :drink:

I am going to discuss it with JC and Z next week. I have zero experience with the 900. It is a 2000 model (I think) or a 2001. I am getting more info next week on the boat. 100 hours would be the limit for me. I was hoping to tone them down and get closer to 200 hours. If the 100 hours was just springs/lifters etc I might be able to live with that. I just dont want to buy a 100 hour bombshell....
