Hp 525 And A Whipple

Has anybody had any luck with a whipple on an HP525. I just bought a new boat in Havasu and it ran great down there. The crappy part is I live at 6000 ft. above sea level and the boat feels too sluggish. I am considering a whipple but thought I would see what you all have done. Thanks!

I heard there was a poor design on how the rev limiter works. It reduces fuel to the engine to reduce rpm. Not a good thing for a whipple setup. If you run against the rev limiter it will cut fuel and detonate.

Not sure if Whipple is fixing this one or not.

From what I have heard they can not crack the computer on the 525efi. There are replacing the hole thing when they put the Whipple on them . I don't know if they have figured it out yet .I just got finished installing some on my 500efis . they make Lot's of Torque!!

I would call Mark at Precision Marine in La.He knows all about it .

Also I am hearing that the heat exchanger may not be big enough :(

good luck
