plug gapping

What is the correct spark plug gap for a 600+ BBC blower motor running 4lbs. of boost? Thanks.

Re: plug gapping

That would depend on the ignition being used.
Probably .035-.045.

Re: plug gapping

If it's MSD I would run it at .045... thats always worked good on our blower motors.

I have allwasy used 32-35. but with more boost. MSD would make alittle differance also.

Most of the blower and NOS guys say .032

The prob ya run into is the plug is made to be gaped at .045 so when ya bend the bridge its angled down.

What plugs are ya running??

I'm with strip on this .035". The plug manufacturer tech line should be the final word. NGK have been very helpful in the past
