Test the interrupt switch with a multimeter. Find out if it's normally open or closed. If it's the correct normally closed switch, I would install it and retest. It would really be helpful if you had a code tool, since open IC line will set a trouble code 42. I will post how to make a code tool in a new thread. Dave |
Re: EFI Gurus wanted
Dave.
I just checked the new switch with a muti meter and it is normaly open like you suspected. When I disconnected the wire when running this time it did kill the motor. I will pick up another switch tomorrow (normaly Closed) and try it again. Thanks for all your help. I'll let you know what happens. Paul. |

Hooked up the new switch and it works fine. Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to explain the process and variables in detailed yet understandable terms. Paul. |

Dave,
Any idea of how to put together a shift interrupt switch for the Ilmor 625 engine? |
