Chicago area engine builders?

Does anyone know of some good shops to freshen a pair of 454 mag engines in the area? I know of Ateco in waukegan and Riss marine. Any others? Looking for good pricing, good work, and good turn around time. I know i have a better shot at winning the lotto

A number of Chicago-area people have used Riss Performance Marine. If west Michigan is a possibility you might try Wes Co in Jenison, Michigan. 616-662-2250

They will work on what ever you bring them. I've had then redo a single stock 330 last year for a buddy of mine. And they did both of my old 454'd from my scarab like 4yrs ago..
If its race season then dont expect to get your stuff back anytime soon.....but for the most part they are ok about turn around time

Ateco Engines in Waukegan. He does a lot of Marine engines. I have had great luck on a number of big hp engines with him.
