What are best Bilge Pump/Swich Combos?
 

My boat came with Lovett Bilge pump and integrated switch. It died because the rubber drive belt had stretched and wouldn't turn the impellor vanes.

I didn't replace it with a Lovette because Formula put i under a notch in the keel adn it was impossible to service or R&R with engines in place.

I used a hugh capicity pump with an electronic switch and one or the other has now crapped out.

I'm thinking about using a remote pump with a hose to the bottom of the bilge. Has anybody else tried this?

What kind of out swithc has been reliable AND will pump the bilge LOWER than 1 1/2" ??
