last question before assembly
 

I want to make sure I am good to go here and begin installing the new parts I ordered from sdpc! I ordered the vortec head and airgap intake kit. I was reading somewhere that I have to open up something for proper cooling? I thought this was just an exact bolt on? I will be installing the parts tomorrow so any help I can get will be apreciated! The motor is a 1989 350 magnum! thank you
