496 mag ho sea pump impeller question?

Is the impeller rebuild kit on the sea pump the same for the 496 mag ho as the 502 mag?

negative. tottaly diffrent impellers and housing. The new ones aren't that great either. They have alot of problems with the housing wearing and its a brass piece now that costs a fortune instead of the cheap plastic one.

There is a Hi perf shop in Greenville,Wis that manufactures a Billet aluminum housing and has a impeller that is better and longer lasting than Merc's. IIt will peplace the stock merc china plastic garbage. Irf intrested call EXTREME PERFORMANCE 920-757-0269 ASK FOR DAN RHODES.He had been with Keith Eickert for years previous to his business.
